Steve grew up in Southern California listening to L.A. AM radio in the '60s, then he got hip to FM radio in the seventies. He's been singing since the age of 14, initially in the shower, then later in high school and college.

Over the last few years Steve has been gigging around L.A. and Orange County, singing with bands doing popular classic rock and R&B. Among his influences are Big Joe Turner, Eric Burdon, Al Jarreau, Stevie Wonder, Darryl Hall, Paul McCartney, Maynard James Keenan, Donald Fagan and Billy Joel.

During the day, Steve produces television sitcoms to pay the bills, and he sings to satisfy his soul. Sometimes, we even get him out of the shower.
