Doug is a drummer’s drummer. It’s his day job as well as his night job. A native of Huntington Beach, Doug teaches the rudiments to students and occasionally performs at clinics with Big Band arranger Tom Kubis. “The Paradiddle Kid” has toured the U.S., Europe and Asia and doesn’t limit himself to one genre. Rock, blues, punk, funk, R&B, ska, reggae, folk, jazz, progressive, soul -- Doug plays it all.

Doug has performed and/or recorded with The Untouchables, K2, Horny Toad, Al.'s Peace, Colorblind, Jimmy Cliff, Lee Rocker, Dave Wakeling, Native Son, Kottonmouth Kings, The Selecter, The Tiger, Limousine, Devil Doll, Platinum Roots (Joe Higgs, Michael Rose, Swelele, Zacky, Debo, et al), The Dubtet, World Peace Posse, and many more.
